About the Book
Book: Moving On by Karen Tucci
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Christian Romance
Release Date: March 1, 2024
Sarah Morris loved and lost her first husband. She was lucky enough to find another wonderful man in her hometown, yet her grief and guilt weighed her down. Instead of living happily ever after, she returned his ring, walking away from a life filled with promise and hope.
Brandon Taylor, a construction worker, has spent the last five years working endlessly in an attempt to get over the love of his life. He’s packed everything away that reminds him of Sarah, but even that doesn’t help - she is tattooed on his heart.
But when Sarah’s daughter, Lily, and her new husband convince Sarah and Brandon to work a mission trip in Africa, she hopes they will reunite. Will they be upset that Lily meddles in their lives? Has enough time passed for them to reconcile, or will they remain miserable and alone?
My Review
Karen Tucci delivers a page-turning, second chance story full of redemption.
Â
I loved the way the author used Sarah’s adult daughter to help draw Sarah and Brandon back to each other. Both were too stubborn to reconcile on their own, yet miserable without each other.
Â
I especially enjoyed that the author chose a mission trip to Africa as a way to force Sarah and Brandon together after five years apart. The descriptions of the mission and Africa drew me into the story. I was able to picture the setting and people through the author’s descriptions.
Â
Even though this is the second book in a series, it stands as a complete story on its own.
Â
Fans of Christian romance and clean romance will enjoy this second chance romance with a delightful happily-ever-after.
Â
Romance:Â Clean, light descriptions of kissing.
Faith:Â Both main characters learned to trust God with their pain and help them forgive each other.

A Note From The Author
I seldom enjoy functioning in reality. Living in my books with swoony cowboys, military men, billionaires, kind (as opposed to mean) girls/women, and vacation getaways is definitely more appealing.
However, my ideas come from life’s sweetest, and saddest moments and I am grateful for them all because I know there is a greater purpose for life’s events.
I love my Savior, my two amazing children, my husband, sweatshirt weather, and Kira Stokes (KSFit app).
Never stop reading.
