My Review
5 stars
Jill Weatherholt grabs the reader’s attention from the opening scene, setting up a tension filled inheritance plot.
Caitlyn is a worry-wart single mom of a son with epilepsy. A little too proud and independent for her own good, she must learn to allow Logan and the town of Bluebell to help her. In the process of fixing up the house she inherited, will she find her secret crush returned?
The author portrayed Caitlyn, Logan, and Henry (her son) in a very engaging and authentic way. I immediately resonated with Caitlyn’s plight and had a hard time putting this book down. I especially loved how the author used Henry’s connection with an animal to hit home his character arc. Bravo!
I would strongly recommend this book to fans of Christian romance, inspirational romance, or sweet, clean romance.
Romance: Very clean. Light kissing.
Faith: The faith element was light. Both characters made passing mention of faith.
