There are times in life where you feel it is time to stretch and grow.  Maybe God is pulling you in a new direction.  Or maybe He’s pushing you – kicking and screaming all the way.

If you’ve ever felt like this, then perhaps you can identify with my latest calling or challenge or character building moment.

In August of 2012, my husband, Jim, suddenly lost his job.  This is not the first time we’ve been through a layoff as a couple.  Sadly, it was the fourth time between the two of us.

So, what do you do when life hands you lemons?  You make a lemonade enterprise, of course!

Jim barely had two days to mourn the loss of his job when the idea for Christian eBooks Today was born.  I sprang the idea on him when he came to have lunch with me.  For a few minutes, he lamented over his lost job.  Then, I asked him this question, “Would you like to work for me?”  I think later I revised the question to work “with” me because that is truly what has happened.

I’ll save you all of the boring details about how Christian eBooks Today came to be.  Instead, I’ll share more about our vision for this new website for lovers of Christian fiction and nonfiction.

Christian eBooks Today seeks to spread the word of God by connecting readers with eBooks from quality Christian authors.  Whether fiction or nonfiction, we believe Christian eBooks can inspire readers in their faith and daily walk.
